No need to wait till you’re back at your desk. It’s all on your device.

An Australian company has released an app that clinicians can use on their device to access real-time patient data securely, away from the clinic.

The Clinician App allows users of their existing cloud-based digital healthcare platform, such as the Hospital in the Home platform and the Chronic Disease Management solution, to access the platforms from a mobile device.

“Healthcare is no longer confined to static locations, and clinicians need flexible tools to keep pace with real-world care demands,” said Deepak Biswal, CEO of CareMonitor.

“The Clinician App offers that flexibility by equipping healthcare teams with secure, real-time access to the data they need, whenever and wherever they need it.”

It’s particularly useful in hospital-in-the-home programs, chronic disease management, virtual care, community-based care and other environments that require quick decision-making away from the clinic, the company said.

Through the app, clinicians can manage alerts, make and review notes, track appointments and collaborate with others in addition to accessing patient data.

The app is available for iOS and Android systems and employs ISO-certified data security measures.
