With apologies to Eric Clapton. Sometimes, when another AI-powered conversational assistant is released, we just have to wax lyrical.
Cloud-based home and community care solutions firm AlayaCare has launched its AI-powered conversational assistant Layla across the Australian and New Zealand healthcare sectors.
Layla offers real-time access to comprehensive data, including care plans, client profiles, visit updates and caregiver schedules, according to the company announcement.
“By streamlining complex interactions and providing reliable information, Layla enables care teams to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently,” said AlayaCare.
Key features include:
- comprehensive data access, allowing users to retrieve hundreds of data points about care plans, clients, visits, employees and more, all in one place;
- Layla is integrated with AlayaCare Cloud, leveraging existing data to ensure immediate relevance and utility;
- security and infrastructure: Layla is built with a strong focus on security, ensuring sensitive client information remains secure;
- empowered mobility, allowing users to access critical information on the go, providing real-time access to care works wherever it’s needed;
- a trusted knowledge source, allowing users to receive reliable definitions for medical terms and conditions, ensuring care workers have accurate information from trusted medical knowledge bases.
AlayaCare said that an estimated 80% of healthcare data was currently “unstructured”, with staff typically losing 20 to 30 minutes per shift searching for scattered information, delaying decisions and care coordination.
“We believe the future of home care lies in utilising technology to complement human effort, and these key advancements have the potential to completely redefine operations,” said AlayaCare CEO Adrian Schauer.
